This program provides an opportunity to learn basic securities investment theory (finance). The program is designed for (a) those who want to attempt to be CMAs but have not learned the basics of CMA exam-related subjects, (b) those who want to study basic knowledge/theory for their job or their own asset management, and (c) for university students who are interested in finance.

Students can enroll in the course at any time, and, after completing it, can sit for the certificate exam at any time in the three years following enrollment. The exam is electronically held in major cities in Japan and a certificate of program completion is issued to those completing the program and successfully passing the certificate exam.
As of end-December 2010, there were 8,186 applications, including 1,633 from business corporations and 1,003 university students.
